ADULT CHOIR
The choir leads the sung prayer of the church and helps the assembly to pray. The choir sings regularly for the 11:00 a.m. Sunday Mass and for special liturgies throughout the church year. The choir season runs from September through May. Members are volunteer who are expected to make a commitment to attend rehearsals on Thursday evenings at 7:30 p.m. and liturgies on a regular basis.

ART & ENVIRONMENT
This group is a subcommittee of the Liturgy Committee. They provide the expertise for the environment and decorations for liturgical seasons and feasts in order to heighten the awareness of the festive, solemn, or penitential nature of these seasons. Meetings are scheduled within the Liturgy Committee and as needed.

DEACONS
The Greek word "diakonia" describes the main purpose and function of a deacon; it is to be one of service or charity to others. Our parish currently has three deacons ordained to serve the people of the parish community. They baptize and witness weddings, counsel and proclaim the Word of God. They serve the community in many ways, as well as celebrating ceremonies at the altar and assisting the pastor.

EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS
Eucharistic Ministers are members of the parish who appointed, assist in distribution of Communion during liturgical services and bring the Eucharist to shut-ins.

FUNERAL CHOIR
The funeral choir is an ad hoc group, which assembles to lead the congregation in singing and responding at funeral liturgies. There are no scheduled rehearsals. Those who are able to attend come ten minutes before each funeral and sit in the front of the church. A telephone committee contacts those who wish to participate on a regular basis.

HAND BELL CHOIR
The Hand Bell Choir is another extension of the music ministry. The ringing of bells adds a joyful sound to liturgies and special celebrations.

LECTORS
Lectors proclaim the Word of God as contained in the readings during liturgical services.

LITURGY COMMITTEE
This committee shall strive to bring the parish to a deeper understanding of Christian worship. It will also work toward developing the forms of worship and liturgical ministries needed in the parish.  The committee meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 7:30 p.m. September through June.
