ENGAGED COUPLE CONFERENCE
The Engaged Couple Conference (E.C.C.) is a process to assist couples in an
analysis of their values and attitudes as they prepare for marriage in
light of the Gospel Message. Participation in a conference is a requirement
for all couples entering marriage in the Toledo Diocese.
The E.C.C. Team is made up of parishioners who have lived with the joys and
sorrows of married life. Discussions throughout the day cover such topics
as communication in marriage, marriage as a Sacrament, finances, careers,
married love and natural family planning.
The conference is held on the third Saturday of the months of February and
September unless there are insufficient numbers registered. The day begins
promptly at 8:30 a.m. and ends early afternoon. The involvement and the
interchange of ideas between the couple, other engaged couples and with the
married couples is as important as the content that is presented.
FAMILIA
Familia offers mothers and fathers of young children a chance to grow
in faith through Gospel reflection, Catechesis and the teachings of Pope
John Paul II.
